The Technique
This technique incorporates principals of manual therapy, Schroth scoliosis technique, and Pilates. We have developed exercises that are performed on some of today’s modern exercise equipments such as Pilates reformer, spine corrector, etc. We also use other more common tools that are more accessible but will allow performing the same excellent corrections. Some of these tools are: wall-bars, poles, yoga belts, and Thera-Bands.
(Wall-bars and Spine Correctors)
There are many different types of scoliosis and not all of them can be treated the same way. A four-curve scoliosis requires a different approach than a three-curve scoliosis. We will teach you how to identify, evaluate and address each type of scoliosis, because a thorough evaluation is the key to a successful treatment.

The theoretical part of our course is essential for understanding how scoliosis affects different systems in the body and consequently for accurate performance of required exercises. After that we will begin the practical part of the course. During this part of our program we will demonstrate, discuss and practice a series of exercises that correct scoliosis. Even though the quality and the purpose of the exercises stay the same, the tools and the equipments used will be interchanged to create more strenuous exercises. This will allow the participants who have limited access to equipments to perform a vast variety of different exercises.
We stress greatly educating our clients about their scoliosis and its effects on their bodies. Their complete understanding of the nature of their scoliosis is crucial for correct performance of the exercises. Another important part of our Complete Scoliosis Program (CSP) is the consistency of performing home exercises. Only regular exercising will show improvements. Therefore, throughout the course we will teach you a step-by-step exercise program that is easy for clients to follow and perform, but it has also the right intensity, so it will yield the desired results.
