Mr. Boroumand is a physical therapist educated in Germany. During his physical therapy studies, which he completed in 1995, he was intensively trained in Lehnart Schroth technique, a three- dimensional scoliosis treatment,
and Bobath technique also known as 'neuro-developmental treatment' (NDT). After that, he worked in an in-patient neurological physical therapy clinic treating variety of neurological disorders such as: MS, paraplegia, Parkinson’s, and cerebral paresis. Later he worked in an orthopedic out-patient clinic. During that time he successfully completed a two year Orthopedic Manual Therapy continuing education program and attended a series of Applied Kinesiology courses.
His passion to help
scoliosis patients made him to refine and improve his scoliosis techniques by
attending additional scoliosis courses. His vast knowledge
of human anatomy, his experience in exercise and movement, and careful study of
scoliosis led him to design this methodology to treat scoliosis.
He strongly believes that an
intensive and carefully designed exercise program can enormously reduce
the degree of scoliosis and improve the overall functionality.
Mr. Boroumand is a certified GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS trainer. He is also a certified personal trainer and massage therapist.
